Online downloading of WII Games

By now, few gaming fanatics wound argue that the Wii is not the game console of choice. Wii parties and get-togethers are commonplace these days as Wii communities proliferate. That’s not surprising, given that the Wii is really home entertainment, relaxation and exercise rolled into one. In fact, if there was to be anything at all that’s thorny about Wii, it would have to be the cost of its game discs.
New games keep getting better but they are not getting cheaper unless of course, there is an alternative source to turn to. As a matter of fact, there is. Being a digital product, it comes as no surprise that it would have a surrounding commercial presence on the net. People are quick to jump on the business opportunity and it did not take long for Wii Games Download service providers to sprout up all over the web. How to Download Wii Games then?
How to Download Wii Games can be done for nothing (FOC) through peer-to-peer (P2P) or torrent sites. This, however, is a no-no with serious Wii fanciers in view of viruses and malware. The process and quality often leaves a lot to be desired too. Paid membership download service is a much better proposition. For a nominal outlay, you get complete peace of mind.
There are different packages of paid membership to suit individual needs and preference. Per-download or limited-time options make more economic sense for the occasional gamers but they are few and far between. Wii -rockers are predominantly fanatical about their favorite gizmo and can’t have enough of it. Lifetime unlimited membership is hence the no-brainer choice and is by far the most popular option.
Unlike the per-download scheme, unlimited downloads are virtually free-of-charge. The one-time fee goes more towards the sign-up and purchase of the software and tools. Along with the games download, unlimited TV shows, movies and music are accessible. The market rate of the one-time fee charged by the top-tier providers is not much more than what you would pay for a single disc from the store.
Actually, How to Download Wii Games is the easy part. The trick is in picking out the right provider. The Wii market is hot so scams and fly-by-nights’ are lurking everywhere. Don’t settle for anything without full money-back guarantee and 24/7 support and one way to be insulated from identity theft is to shop only in secure e-commerce marketplaces like Clickbank.

Guide for installing Nintendo WII

Before connecting your Nintendo Wii anywhere, decide first how you would like to position it. You can choose whether you want to lay it flat or let it stand vertically using the Wii console stand and plate that comes with the package. This allows you a little flexibility in terms of storage options so you won’t have a lot of concerns when it comes to space. An important thing to note though: position your it to allow enough space for the internal fan to work.
Plugging the console
Next, plug the AC cord into the input connector that is located at the back of the console. The console has an AV (Audio/Video) Multi-Out plug that lets you connect to most TV and VCR units. Connect the AV Cable plugs into the connectors on your TV. Take care to note the color code of the connectors: red for right audio input, white for left audio input and yellow for video input.
After the connectors are in place, turn on the TV and the Wii console. On the TV, look for Input Select, AUX for auxiliary or Source or EXT for external. Use the channel where you’re usually tuned in to view videos. Choose the Nintendo game.
Connecting to the VCR
If you want to use the VCR, set the unit to VCR and then put in a tape, press play and then press stop. The game image should show up on the screen. If your speakers are plugged in, the sound should come out from there.
Locating the sensor bar
The Sensor Bar may be placed near the TV, ideally above or below the screen. Insert the Sensor plug into the Sensor connector found on the back of the console. However else you may wish to mount it, make sure the Sensor Bar is aligned close to the TV, preferably in front.
Check the System Setting of the console to ensure that the location option for the Sensor Bar is set accordingly. To check if the location is ideal, take note of the reception and make necessary adjustments.
Using the Wiimote
Two AA batteries are used with the Wiimote. Use the wrist strap to keep the remote snug and fit in your hand. There is no problem about synchronizing the Wiimote that already comes included in your package, but if you are using additional units, you might need to synch them to use them properly.
To synch, you can use the standard mode or the one-time mode. The one-time mode is reserved for Wiimotes you don’t usually use with your console and the standard mode is used for additional units.
Nintendo Wii Accessories You Ought to Have
Nintendo is one of the top innovators when it comes to accessories such as controllers and its designs have become a much sought-after industry standard. The Nintendo Wii by itself comes with some simple fun via is Wii Sports game, but if you want to enjoy the experience to the fullest, here are a few accessories you might want to pick up for yourself:
More controllers
Nintendo Wii comes complete with a two-in-one controller : that is, a nunchuk and a Wiimote, but you might want more for two-player games like boxing or tennis. The Wii can accommodate four controllers, but get an extra nunchuk and another Wiimote to maximize your game.
GameCube memory cards
Why? If you’re playing GameCube games on the Wii, you’ll want to save your efforts in case you need to take a break and you can’t do that to the Wii’s built-in memory. You can only save to a GameCube memory card. Older GameCube cards will do, but if you don’t have one, be prepared to shell out.
GameCube controllers
Nintendo Wii has backward adaptability in that it can still accommodate GameCube, although you’ll need a GameCube controller to play the game to satisfy your nostalgia. GC controller will cost about $25 or get a wireless Nintendo WaveBird for a few dollars more, although your older GC controllers will suffice.
SD Card
Time will come when you’ll use up the Wii’s 512MB, so give yourself more space with a new SD card. Although you can buy one from Nintendo, any SD card will do. A good one to get is a 1GB card for all the space you need and that will set you back.
Batteries
Get the rechargeable ones because the Wiimote is a regular power gobbler. It uses two standard AAs which are included in the Wii package and with the controller unit in case you’re buying a separate one. You’ll need extra battery power for the nunchuk. You can save more if you buy rechargeable NiMH ones and a charger.
Wii Points
Not exactly your hard accessory per se, but this is one of the draws of the Wii’s Virtual Console. The Wii Points are good to have if you plan to buy Nintendo’s classic games such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Donkey Kong and Super Mario 64. The Wii Points function like real currency and has a dollar exchange rate of 100 points to 1 US dollar. Buy the points via Nintendo’s prepaid cards or from its online store.

One-Handed Controller
A striking feature about Nintendo’s Wii is the remote controller that can be used with only one hand. With this controller, a gamer can play using his or her movements rather than mere button-pressing.
The controller also features force feedback technology wherein players can feel vibrations to better simulate the game being played in a real world scenario. Best of all, Wii controller has an internal speaker that enhances the feel of the game being played. Equipped with Bluetooth, the Wii controller is connected to the console without the limitations posed by cords. And it can also be connected to other devices thru a port located under the controller.

Nintendo has managed to ship 4 million Wii’s worldwide on December 31. That is twice the number of PlayStation 3’s promised to deliver. As 2006 closed down, Nintendo had already sold 600,000 Wii eight days after it debuted on November 19.

Shopping for WII for Nintendo WII

Wii was released on November 19, 2006 with the aim of changing the entire arena of gaming with a new controller. Along with this Nintendo has also released new games to attract new players. The company has provided many reasons for naming the console Wii, but the most common reason is “Wii sounds like ‘we’, which emphasizes that the console is for everyone.” People around the world can easily remember Wii; no matter what language they speak. There is no confusion and there is no need to abbreviate. Nintendo further provides reasons for naming the console as ‘Wii’. The two lower case ‘i’ characters are meant to resemble two people standing side by side representing players gathering together and also representing the console’s controller.
Features of Wii
The Wii console is the smallest home unit (weighing less than 3 pounds) that Nintendo has produced till date and can be placed horizontally or vertically. Following are some of the features of Wii:
•    The new Wii will be compatible with all older versions of Nintendo GameCube games and other peripherals.
•    It can play two disc formats in a single, self-loading media bay.
•    It will contain a processing chip from IBM and a graphics chip from ATI.
•    The feature of parental control is available to prohibit young children from playing games with content that are not suitable for their age. This is possible as the console reads the content rating of the game data and if the rating is higher than the value defined, then it will not load the game until a correct password is provided.
•    I personally feel that the best feature that is available is that Wii has a built in wi-fi access for easy connectivity to Nintendo wi-fi connection gaming service.
How Wii Works
Wii translates the movement of the user into in-game action. It contains gyroscopes and accelerometers internally, which detect tilt, rotation and acceleration as you drive a car or fire a gun. The Wii can also be used as a pointer with the help of an optical sensor along with a TV mounted sensor bar that will allow users to sweep crosshairs or move a cursor across the screen. An additional controller is provided for complex games, which does not work as a pointer but can detect motion and also as an additional thumb stick. This additional controller is known as the ‘Nunchuk’ because of the look that it takes when two wireless controllers are connected with a cord.
Nintendo Wii Price
Nintendo is now producing about 1.8 million pieces of Wii per month. The sales of the console have been higher than all its competitors across the globe. The original plan was to produce about 1.2 million pieces of Wii per month but with the release of Microsoft XBOX 360 and Sony Play Station 3, they decided to speed up the production. Even with this astounding mass production of Wii’s these units are still priced at $250 per piece. Despite the high volume of production and the exorbitant price, there is always a shortage of Wii in the stores, especially during the holiday seasons. Hence, people are now turning to eBay and Amazon websites to purchase either used Wii sets or by paying more than the retail price. Well, like many parents across the country, if you are forced to turn to auction websites to buy Wii consoles, then do remember to use the usage guide available on the Nintendo website that will give you a fair idea as to what price to pay for a particular Wii set after you input details like how old the set is.
Nintendo DS
The first Nintendo game console released in North America (prior to Japan) in 2004 was the Nintendo DS, which is a handheld console. The console comes with a clamshell design along with two LCD screens one of them being a touch screen. As a matter of fact, the official name of the console is ‘Dual Screen’. It also has a built in microphone and supports wi-fi which allows players to interact with each other within a predefined range. Nintendo DS Lite, the advanced version of Nintendo was released in early March 2006. These consoles are slimmer and lighter when compared to Nintendo DS with brighter screens. The design of Wii has been influenced by Nintendo DS. Wii’s designer Ken’ichiro Ashida has said that, “We had the DS on our minds as we worked on the Wii. We thought about copying the DS’s touch-panel interface and even came up with a prototype.”

A move beyond Nintendo WII Games

One of the interesting, new developments with the Nintendo Wii system is the Mii Channel. The Mii system allows you to create 3-D avatars on your Wii system. Nintendo is launching an online Mii Channel that will allow users to share these avatars and vote on them. Wii users love the ability to create avatar models of themselves, their friends, and families to take part in traditional video game roles. The increase in video games allowing users to manifest as their own Mii is also sure to increase. As users can save their Mii on their Wii system and use the same avatar to play different games, it is also hoped that this system will advance to allow the avatars to enter into other online virtual worlds. The future for this system has a lot of possibilities for video game players. An advanced Mii system will first have to incorporate better design tools and graphics for the avatars.
Users will want to spend their time to create avatars with all of the characteristics they need to enter and play the video games. These avatars should also be able to incorporate their own tools or gadgets from game to game, or platform to platform. Having the avatars able to be customized in this manner, different avatars with various configurations of features, accessories, spells, and so forth can be saved on the game box like the Wii. If the Mii avatar can be made to apply in a wider variety of game applications, including online MMORG environments, then it will be an interesting success.
The worry is that allowing avatars to carry gadgets from other systems in games that were not designed for them could completely change the game itself. But the advantages of having an avatar with all of the attributes, accessories, and additions one wants ready, before entering the game’s environment to participate is clear. The ability to carry acquisitions found in one game by the avatar into another game is also interesting. A lot of new possibilities for video game development exist in the further expansion of the Mii avatar on the Nintendo Wii gaming system, and into other platforms.

Review of Nintendo WII “Top Spin”

Expectations were not disappointing when the Nintendo Wii version of Top Spin video game was recently released by 2K Sports. With the unique games control of the Nintendo Wii game console, the game play is certainty very much alive and realistic. Players can hold the Wiimote like a tennis racket. The nunchuk is also used in the video game process to control the player as well as for aiming the ball. There are three game modes for this game. First is the exhibition mode for single or double players. Second is the events mode with the games in tourney style settings. Lastly is the Party Mode with three categories.
You can play with multiplayers with the Nintendo Wii machine provided you have extra sets of controller for a head on game. But what is disappointing is that there is no online game mode available. Furthermore the video game doesn’t come with career mode. To sum it off, the video game has no true permanence. They just good for short quick play.
The audio of the game is adequate…nothing outstanding here, which left just the video graphics. The Nintendo Wii is THE generation of video game console today. It is capable of so much more than what is shown here in this video game.
I guess for a party setting when you just want to kill some time, this game will fit the bill perfectly. Its a series of mini video games… so great if you the type who the impatient type. But for those who prefer more substances than the “shoot them up type”, it can really do with both a career mode and online mode to prolong video game play.
However due credit has to be given to the video game for the implementation of the Nintendo Wii games control. The overall feel is that the video game does feel “real”. I guess this is the Nintendo Wii main selling point. Graphics can be improved though to boost the “real” feeling. Its really a shame when the full capability of the Nintendo Wii is not utilized. My overall conclusion is that this video game can be further improved especially to cater those who like to invest more time in game play. Perhaps the next version of this will really take advantage of the video game controls of the Nintendo Wii.

These games can be basically played with out much confusion or restriction with its wireless remote control. These games have acquired great popularity because of this.
Some games are provided along with the console, but may not be much interesting as the new hot ones. Players can redeem the Wii point cards at the online Wii shop and can choose from wide variety of downloadable games and accessories. These games can be played for a long time as there is the provision for the saving the game at any point of time and restarting from there later.
Everything about Nintendo Wii games revolves round the remote controller just like any other Wii game. Even though video games usually have the image of a couch potato, the basic specialty of this game is the players movements. These games are usually intended for kids but it can be a family matter because of its range.
Since the Wii games have wireless remote controller it is very convenient for the player to move his body to control what is displayed on the screen. This advancement in technology has helped the Wii games to keep up with the demand of the market.
It is a good news that even parents find this interesting. There are a wide variety of these games in the market. There are Wii sports games where a number of sports games are included as well as a fitness test element. Thus, there is something interesting for everyone in this game.
Nintendo Wii games are very popular as they have set down new concept in gaming. The games rated for teenage group include intense challenges and stronger action compared to that of kids which has less complicated plots. Games rated E can be played by the entire family including kids.
Wii game players will never be tired of these games. In fact Nintendo game players grow up with these characters while playing the game. Nintendo is continuing their effort to produce better and more imaginative games acceptable to all age groups taking into consideration the need for physical activities.
Nintendo games are unique due to their special controller. These games involve physical movements extensively and are highly interactive. It is real fun to play the game. Nintendo Wii games can be purchased through games stores and are different from the usual computer games. Whatever others might say this is a highly popular game and is going to stay in the market for sometime.

Review of Nintendo WII “Fishing Master”

Ever since I was a little girl I have loved to go sit out by a pond and fish. It never really matter to me if I caught anything or not, it was just fun trying. I’ve tried different video games to replicate the real act of fishing and found them rather boring and quite unrealistic. However, the Nintendo Wii has a version of “Fishing Master” that really caught my attention. As video games go, this is as close one can get to fishing without having to deal with worms, hooks, and tangled line.
There are really two types of formats when playing fishing video games;
1) An arcade type of game that can be fun, but lacks reality and
2) Realistic fishing modes that can make you feel as though you are actually catching fish.
The Nintendo Wii has combined the two to make this video game experience something fun for whatever type of mode you wish to play in. The characters themselves are cartoon in creation; however the act of using a fishing rod makes the video game more realistic for the player.
There is only one mode of play in this video game however there is a setting for multiplayer’s in the Battle mode. In the single player campaign mode the player advances through the stages by catching different types of fish. The video game offers tournaments and challenges throughout the game play and players earn points which they use to buy items such as bait and other specialty items.
Players stand facing the water and as the player moves from end of the beach to the other, they will be able to catch different fish from those points. The fundamental aspects of the video game are very easy to learn right from the start.
The Nintendo Wii’s version of “Fishing Masters” is what I believe the most entertaining and realistic approach to video game fishing; it is fun, challenging and creative. It is as close as you might get to the real thing without having to fight bugs, baiting hooks, and smelling like you’ve rolled in dead fish. The only problem there is that I can see is that you’ll have to buy fresh fish from the market if you want to have your catch as dinner.
